Loved making this album. This was recorded in two sessions; one at Metronome studio in Brookline NH and another at the Record Co. in Boston MA. Each session was 4-5 players in one room just playing; my favorite way to record. This album has some of my favorite players on it and I am very grateful to be able to collaborate with these guys. It’s up on all streaming sites but here is a link to the bandcamp.

Latin Fest 2019
Last Saturday De La High had a blast playing Fiesta Latina, the final festival in the series “Festivals by the River”. We played a ton of original latin songs and some cool arrangements of latin classics. The dance party was happening, the drum set was LIT UP (literally w LED lights, thanks drummer man Osi), and the energy/grooves were there! I’m very much hoping there’s more latin music in Fitchburg and the festivals continue for years to come.
Summer 2019-blazing through MAssachusetts
Wow, this summer has been incredibly fulfilling with musical projects and performances including; a weekly gig with the Chuck Langford band at the Cape (right on the beach!), shows in Boston with KONG at Bull McCabe’s, festivals and shows with De La High, latin gigs with Carlos Odria and latin gigs with Stefania, Worcester Jazz Collective gigs all over the place, and ending the summer the Peabody International fest with the rocking Archie Kabota power jazz unit. The Joe Mazz band hashed things out at Nick’s and premiered at Starlite Southbridge for one of my favorite hits of the year. Loved making music with all of my co-conspiritors including; Jimmy Morrell, JL Claybourne, Stephanie Rogers (wife and singer!), Chuck Langford, Tom Lubelczyk, Eli Mateo, Brian Koning, George Robinson, Thomas Spears, the Kong crew, AJ Sausville, Owen Ross, and Whitney Marshall. Also played with a bunch of new (to me) players; Mike Caudill, Wally Ali, Archie Kubota, and Alvin Terry among others. Fun stuff! I look forward to keeping the momentum going this year.

Album updates
In the past few months I have been working like crazy on this album! I held had a horn recording session with some of my favorite musicians at the end of 2017 and I am currently working on the last phase of the album; vocals. Stephanie laid down some tracks this week and one of my favorite rappers Rave aka Inzayne is doing some remote recording for a few tasty tracks in Apple Valley CA! I can’t wait to finish; I think this is going to be a very unique album with some stuff that is totally different. Here is a small sample of a song called peace;Peace short clip
Night before Thanksgiving hootenanny
Can’t wait to play this one with Brother Stereo. It has become kind of a tradition the night before Thanksgiving. The show is always sold out and it is a good time.. Kind of like a hootenanny.

In the studio mixing the drums for my new album (coming soon).. Drummer, Jl Claybourne tears it up on this one! Looking forward to some horn and vocal sessions. Album will be released on February 1.
