About Joey Mazzarella
Joey is a jazz, funk, and soul composer, producer, and pianist. He graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Ran Blake, Danilo Pérez, Frank Carlberg, and Bob Moses.

Joey leads the Joey Mazz Band and explores original music that blends jazz, funk, and groove with a focus on acoustic beauty and expressive depth. His 7th studio album, Beat Monk (July 9, 2024), continues this exploration, aiming to create music that resonates with listeners and leaves a lasting impression.
